This module opens students to the wider world of coffee extraction, and how different variables beyond the basics, can be manipulated to achieve better tasting coffee. Topics such as equipment, brewing variables, and science-related theories are shared. Participants will then undergo a range to challenges to apply what they have learnt from this module. By the end of the module, students should be able to diagnose and calibrate different coffees under different settings to achieve better cups of coffee.
