Geisha is the variety that changed specialty coffee. Originally collected from the Gesha forests of Ethiopia and made famous on the farms of Panama, it's prized for a delicate, floral, tea-like cup that few other varieties can match.
Most Geisha gets roasted light for filter. We've taken this one the other way and roasted it for espresso, so the florals sit on a chocolatey base that gives the shot real body. Oolong comes through in the middle, and it finishes on chrysanthemum: light, floral and clean.
Fully washed, so the cup stays clear and lets the variety speak. Pull it straight to taste the florals, or run it through milk for a chocolatey cup with a soft tea finish.
